- We actually live in Hurst, Texas and I have traveled all over the world but Hurst is such a friendly place with it’s Father –Daughter Dances and it’s Mother-Son Adventure Race there is always a community of things happening. I love the shopping in and around Northeast mall, the Christmas lights thru out the city, and the fireworks for the Fourth of July. You have multi-generational families here with kids, parents, & grandparents all in the same city. The city parks & water parks, the Hurst Rec Center & the dance classes all make this a town to enjoy the adventure!

A truly friendly town with family dining and shopping in a suburban environment. Yet Hurst is only minutes from Fort Worth, D/FW airport, and family attractions such as Texas Rangers baseball, Six Flags over Texas, and Dallas Cowboy football. It's a great central location for visiting anywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area.

- A great place to live & visit. Close enough to the big cities, yet far enough away.

Nestled in the heart of the DFW metropolitan area, Hurst is 10 miles from downtown Fort Worth and 25 miles from downtown Dallas. Hurst is also home to some of the best shopping and dining in Tarrant County and the Hurst Conference Center.
It's the perfect destination for families looking for a little summer fun. New hotels, centrally located and lots of family fun! - on May 19, 2011
