Kanab is a quaint town located in southern Utah and centrally located to some major national parks. Many of the westerns from the 1950s and 1960s were filmed in and around Kanab and the town has kept much of that era alive. It has been given the nickname "Little Hollywood" and the motto is "The best earth on show!" No matter where you are in town, your view is absolutely stunning!

Kanab is a nice colorful town not too far from Zion National Park. Locals refer to Kanab as Little Hollywood since his history of being the background of several western having been filmed there.

I lived in Kanab in the mid 80's. Beautiful location with an easy drive to Zion, the north rim of Grand Canyon, Bryce and everything in between os beautiful. It is surrounded by ghost towns and old movie sets. The sunsets are a photographers dream. The people are warm and friendly and you could not ask for better food anywhere. .I have lived in a lot of places, but Kanab has a special meaning for me.
