As does most Texas towns Nocona fan's up for Friday night football. Whether it be a home game or away. We are known for the most fan based school in our area. Also along with everything else you have read we have two softball tournaments held each year. Benefits scholarships for our kids. Jordi's Jam and The Ray Walker tourney. Great people great fun.

What can we say about Nocona, Texas that would make it any better? My wife, Lesa, and I are proud to call this home to Nocona Casket Company and J and L Construction. We are constructing the finest personalized pine caskets here and working on our neighbor's houses. Both of us have called this place home most of our lives. It is a pleasure to live here, work here and enjoy the local activities. Whether you come for a day or a week, this is a place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. See our museum, tour the factories and enjoy the festivities. We look forward to seeing you here in Nocona, Texas!

If you haven't been to Nocona; you've missed a great trip. From our Mardi Gras Nocona Style; Cruisin' Nocona and Vicari Car Auction; rodeo, and Christmas extravaganza - Nocona has a fun activity for everyone; just pick your season, or make them all! On top of that, we have a first-class museum featuring the five themes that have established Nocona; AND if that's not enough we have the Horton Class Car Museum(s) that feature vintage automobiles, including most Corvettes made from their inception. We've also got wineries, art galleries, golf, and scenic views in what we lovingly call our "Montague County Hill Country". We have a brand, spanking new VFW hall that will rival any in Texas. Hospitality at its best - friendly people that would love to have you come and experience the flavor of ' NOCONA, MOST FUN TOWN IN TEXAS'

The friendliest, most fun city in Texas! Lots of great things to do and see....and wonderful city festivals, like "Mardi Gras Nocona Style!" in February and "Cruisin' Nocona" in May, with year around restaurants, shops, community events and fun activities to fit every one's idea of "fun!" If it's history you're interested in, we're right smack in the middle of the Old Chisholm Trail. Tales 'n' Trails Museum is first class - as is the new Horton Classic Car Museum, if you're interested in vintage automobiles. And if that's still not enough - we've got area wineries, art galleries and art events, all situated along scenic routes through the beautiful hill country of north Texas. So hop on your motorcycle, bicycle or automobile and cruise Nocona!
