Description
The 2011 Friendliest Small Town in America returned with food and wine that blew our team away. We met chefs from Pho Sho, Andrae’s Kitchen, and The Marc, who prepared custom sampler dishes and students in Walla Walla Community College’s Culinary Program who paired dishes with wine from Woodward Canyon and Leonetti Cellar. The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance organized an amazing afternoon for our team warmly reminding us of their friendliness.
Our favorite local restaurants included Maple Counter Café, Saffron, Brasserie Four, The Marc and T. Maccarone’s, all must-stops on a visit to one of our favorite small towns. Tour and taste at local vineyards from Walla Walla Vintners to Blue Mountain Vineyards, Waterbrook Winery, Spring Valley Vineyard and Lullaby Winery.
In addition to food and wine, Walla Walla is renowned for its art, music and theater. Browse any of a dozen galleries, catch a symphony or jazz performance, or attend a show at a local college. For history tour the historic downtown’s architecture and antique shopping, The Whitman Mission, and Fort Walla Walla for a feel of the 1800s.
Walla Walla’s abundant outdoor offerings can’t be overlooked, from camping, boating and swimming to area parks, athletic facilities and walking trails. Visitors can hunt and fish, ski, bike, ice skate or play softball, tennis, racquetball and golf. See what else Walla Walla has to offer in users' reviews.

- Whether it be breakfast (Maple Counter, Bacon & Eggs), lunch (Olive, Sweet Basil), or dinner (South Fork Grill, T Maccarone's, Whitehouse, Brasserie Four) every meal is amazing in Walla Walla. Also, it is great to have the wonderful wine in between the meals.
