My favorite road trip memory was walking across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The scenery was amazing and it was something that had been on my Bucket List for a long time. That entire trip up the Pacific Coast Highway from Dana Point to Healdsburg, California was amazing but crossing the bridge was the highlight.

Last summer I participated in the Mongol Rally - a 9000 mile treck across ⅓ of he globe, over two continents, and 15 countries from London to Mongolia. I shared a small car airconditioning with three other teammates across some of the worst roads in the world. We spent two days in the desert in Kazakhstan where there wasn't so much as a bush or a hill offering privacy for bathroom activity. Being forced by nature to overcome your inhibitions is not a fond memory:)

Vacation, European Vacation, the Jerk, Stripes, Animal House, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the Sound of Music, the Ten Commandments, the Wizard of Oz, Forest Gump, All James Bond Movies (especially the Sean Connery movies), Meet the Parents, Shawshank Redemption, the Indiana Jones series, Silence of the Lambs, Chocolat, Moulin Rouge, Amadeus, the Sixth Sense, Speed, Tombstone, Monte Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, the World According to Garp, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World etc.

I'm an avid reader - it's probably easier for me to list authors I like - John Grisham, Carl Hiaasen, Ken Follett, Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Dave Baldacci, Ian Fleming etc.

Being a musician (bass guitar) I love all kinds of music - rock, jazz, classical, country etc. But I guess I'm most fond of classic rock because it's so fun to play. I also admit that I'm a fan of Polka music - it's impossible to be in a bad mood when listening to polka:)
