Well I am a self proclaimed starving artist, fly fishing chick, and a fanatical gardener who rescues native plants and dumpster dives at garden centers once a week for sickly abandoned plants to nurse back to health, Grandmother of three and on other one in August.Who always has her suitcases packed ready for last second adventures. I have traversed this land since my childhood, my soul was born with a wanderlust spirit. one of the wonderful things that makes me me, not to bad from someone not yet 50. Last but not least I FOUGHT breast cancer AND WON..This summer marks my six year anniversary being cancer free..
I was 14 and my parents took us all on a month long trip across the country from Monmouth County NJ the Pacific and back covering over 23 states. Through all of the ups and downs of trip we hold every memory fondly and still lough about all of the experiences.
All of the breakdowns, traffic jams, momentary panic of being really lost only adds to the memory of the journey. Even the time our RV broke down on a mountain interstate and we were towed 25 miles with us still in the RV while attached to the tow truck and spending the night in a locked parking lot with razor wire and attack dogs till the mechanic came in i was pretty mad then and I think I did sleep on the couch that night while i made my hubby Gale keep watch.
my paint supplies, camera, journal, my fly rod ,a candy bar, music, candle, water, toilet paper and Gale.
