It's 12 hours between our hot, Texas home and our mountain home, our Texas home has lots of traffic and heat and our Cloudcroft home has wonderful clean pine-scented air and the most stars one could ever imagine!

Our daughter was born in Emporia, and although we no longer live there, it will always hold a special, dear place in our hearts!

I was born and raised in Camdenton, graduated in 1969 (go Lakers!) and moved away to attend college. Getting married and starting a career kept me away. Although I haven't been back in about 25 years, I still have a longing to return to see the beautiful dogwoods and to see if I could even recognize the place. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to! But, until then, I'll just visit the Website once in awhile and remember the good ol' days!
